Keith Burrowes
Keith Burrowes is the Managing Member of Sierra Integrated Systems, LLC (SIS) which he founded in 2002. Previously, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of LECTRIX LLC and LECTRIX International BV, jointly owned by American Electric Power, Bechtel, and Siemens. This company developed markets in power quality and reliability for data centers and other industrial customers globally and did merchant transmission projects in North America. Earlier, he had a total of 28 years’ experience in positions of increasing responsibility at Bechtel, a leading international engineering and construction company. During his Bechtel career, he held positions of Manager of Engineering for Bechtel Power Corporation, Corporate Vice President and Manager of Information Systems and Services, and President of Bechtel Software, Inc.
After graduating from UCLA with his Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, he joined Bechtel’s Power Division and started his career designing nuclear generating stations, while concurrently completing his MBA at Golden Gate University. One of his assignments was Project Engineer responsible for the design and licensing of the Hope Creek Generating Station, a $4 billion nuclear power plant in southern New Jersey.
Along with SIS, he is the past Chair of Board of Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) and past Chair of the Board of the Reno Philharmonic Association.
