Electrician – Journeyman
JOB SUMMARY:
Duties include residential electrical wiring, terminating electrical panels, setting fixtures, outlets, and connecting wires to equipment such as, circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, installing and servicing residential and commercial properties.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OVERALL:
Significant residential electrical experience; high end residential required
Ability to communicate with customers verbally and in writing
Self-motivated and good work-ethic
Detail oriented
Personal dedication to safety for all teams at all times
Present professional demeanor at all times for SIS clientele
Ownership of a complete set of hand tools, knowledge of how to use them, and basic electrical tools of the trade
Solid work history
Satisfactory background check and drug test (completed prior to employment)
REQUIRED EDUCATION, LICENSE, CERTIFICATION:
High school or equivalent
OSHA 10 - or the ability to get it within 4 weeks – NV requirement
Current CA Journeyman Card (required to obtain Nevada within 12 months of hire)
Valid driver’s license
CONTINUING EDUCATION:
Responsibility of Journeyman to keep licensing and continuing education current
