All members of our staff share a passion for electronics. IHS’ staff remain up to date on new products and technology by a combination of dedicated training, trade magazines and manufacturers’ on-the-job training.
Keith Burrowes-Owner
Keith Burrowes founded Sierra Integrated Systems (SIS) in 2001 following a successful career in the Engineering Construction Industry. After completing his MS in Mechanical Engineering at UCLA in 1971, he joined Bechtel Corporation, one of the world’s largest engineering construction companies. At Bechtel, he progressed through several positions of increasing responsibility and was ultimately selected to start up and run a AEP-Bechtel-Siemens owned international company. Following his retirement from that company, he relocated from the Bay Area and founded SIS in Reno, NV.
Estella Hunt-Operations Manager
Estella has over 16 years of experience with start-up companies. Besides managing SIS’ operations, she has managed many major AV projects for SIS and has special expertise in residential and commercial lighting design. Estella holds a Masters Degree from Stanford University and an undergraduate degree from the University of San Francisco.
Kerry Haupert- Finance Manager
Kerry has 7 years of banking and 14 years of accounting/management experience. She has worked with small to mid-size companies.
Ryan Downing – Project Manager
Ryan is a Mechanical Engineering Graduate from the University of Nevada at Reno. He has been a part of SIS for 6 years, and has experience in audio/video installation, low voltage system design, and managing large scale projects.
Ryan Sei-Project Manager
Ryan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Nevada Reno. He has15 years of AV Experience which includes installation, design, specializing in large integration projects that range from six to seven figures in scope.
Brian Greenlees- Small Projects Manager
Brian has more than 25 years of audio/video experience. He is certified with ISF, HAA, Control 4, Savant and Lutron.
Shawn Findlay-Lead Design Engineer/Programmer
Shawn has over 16 years of experience with AV design, installation and programming. He has managed the successful field implementation of many large projects for SIS. Shawn has an undergraduate degree from Weber State University.
Matt Baker-Design Engineer/Project Manager
Matt is a Mechanical Engineering Graduate from the University of Nevada, Reno. He has 7 years of experience installing and designing home integration systems, as well as extensive experience with Crestron, Savant, Control4, and URC system design. Skilled in Visio, D-Tools, and CAD design programs.
Greg Haupert- -Sales and Marketing Director
Greg has over 22 years in Sales, Finance and Training. The last 20 years financing and project management of residential and commercial construction projects. Helping the owner, Architect and Builder stay in tune with the financial framework of every project. Providing solutions to meet today’s challenging environment.
Bob Hurson-Programmer
Bob has over 14 years of experience designing, installing, and programming audio / video systems. He has certifications from AMX, Crestron, Control4, Savant, Vantage Controls, and THX.
Teddy Foster-Lead Installer
Teddy was born and raised in Nevada, attended Reed High School, UNLV and University of Nevada-Reno. He currently lives in Gardnerville with his wife & 3 sons. He has been in the low voltage industry for the past 13 years.
Ashley Shores-Installer
Ashley is originally from South Florida and has been living in Reno with his wife & kids for the past 16 years. He worked in the custom cabinetry & home remodeling business for 9 years before moving in to the low voltage industry, where he has been in for the past 13 years.
Jairo Obregon-Installer
Jairo has been in the low voltage industry for the past 13 years and has extensive experience in smart home technology, audio, video, lighting controls, CCTV, fire alarm and security systems.
Chris Barker-Procurement & Warehouse Manager
Chris attended Weber St. University and has 15 years of warehouse and procurement experience.
Cristina Crawford-Administrative Assistant
Cristina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business administration and joined the SIS team in mid-2011 with 8 years experience in the low voltage industry.
